Artist's Description
As I was driving toward the parking lot, I happened to see the break in the clouds, and this wonderful glow emanating from it. I barely said hello to my compadres, as I quickly grabbed my gear and high tailed it to the outlook. I think I told Pete, better hurry, I saw a great spot to shoot this from. So much for hello, good morning, how are you?
330 second exposure @ ISO400.....imagine the exposure time @ ISO100.......I used the RGND to take the bite out of the lights along the pier, and I must say, it did a mighty fine job, allowing for a bright foreground. And to think, that the only light was from the break in the clouds and the lights along the boardwalk and pier....
