Description
All of last year, my buddy Pete kept egging me on to buy waders. "Dude, you can get better perspectives shooting in the river instead of from the banks". So, last autumn, I did, and it paid off with some great fall shots.
A few weeks ago, my brother from another, Reggie, and I hiked to this spot and shot from, you know it, the banks (and from some of the boulders that were accessible). I told him, and myself, that I need to come back with my waders. I also insisted that he needed some, too.
Well, I came back with my waders. The fishermen looked at me with my (camera) gear quizzically. (Dude, where's your pole?) I can hear them thinking, as i slowly made my way deeper into the river with my MKII hanging about a foot from the water. Call it fishing for something else.....
So here is my catch, my keeper, a 3 shot panorama, f/18, ISO100, at 15 seconds each using my 28mm prime. One of few nice catches (IMO) of the day. Always good to come home with a handful of keepers when one goes out "fishing".
