Description
Some of these cherries bloomed early due to our unseasonably warm winter. On this day, there were few to be found, but then a catastrophic cold snap hit, damaginf most of the early bloomers. Looks like this year's Cherry blossoms will not be as nice as some from the past few years. We shall see, as I take a few more trips down to DC.
Some Post Processing using NIK on this one. I ended up adding some light leaks to this image to both soften the focus and to add some light and brightness to contrast with the Jefferson Memorial in the background.
